Kacy Keys launched Praxis Development Group in 2019 with the express intent of 'Building with Purpose.' She comes to the endeavor with more than 25 years of experience in large and complex development projects, with a track record of success. Kacy has overseen the development of more than $1B in real estate assets with experience in residential, retail, office and mixed-use product types.
Riley is an experienced and successful entrepreneur and community builder, with expertise in strategic planning, design, communication, fundraising, and operations. He is currently the executive director and co-founder of Resilient Sustainable Futures for Iowa City (RSFIC), a non-profit with a mission to build long-term, systemic resilience in Iowa City.
The term ‘community-focused’ gets used loosely. We mean something specific: development that starts with what a neighborhood actually needs, structures itself to deliver that, and stays accountable to the outcome.
It also means being honest about the economics. Our job is to structure deals where doing right by the neighborhood and generating a real return aren’t in conflict.
